"Love is all you need". This phrase from the wonderful movie "I AM SAM" captures the interest of the mass conveying to witness the true meaning of love. This dramatic kind of movie, released on January 25, 2002; was directed by Jessie Nelson and written by Kristine Johnson and  Jessie Nelson, starring Sean Penn (as Sam Dawson), Michelle Pfeifer (as Rita Harrisson Williams- Sam's lawyer), Dakota Fanning (as Lucy Diamond Dawson- Sam's wife), Dianne Wiest (as Annie Cassell- Sam's friend), and so many more brilliant actors who made the whole story great and one of a kind movie. This movie is all about relationship of a father and daughter. Sam Dawson, the father of a seven years old Lucy, is a mentally incapacitated but the one who taught his educated pro Bono lawyer how to love her son. Although Sam think and act like a seven year old kid, he is a person educated for what is love. He loves his wife, neighbors, friends and specially his daughter. This movie is perfect to be watched by those parents who missed to give attention, affection, time and love to their children. The whole story is amazing and possessed morals that for surely can be used by everyone. Even the setting suited for the theme, every dramatic scenes were smoothly accompanied by dramatic songs, and every throw of strange scripts were being spoken by great actors.

Everyone can really appreciate what the movie trying to insist to the viewers. A person who is mentally capacitated and is complete in terms of wealth but ignorant about love can never achieve what Sam enjoyed. Maybe they are happy that they can buy all their luxuries, but one general truth in this world is that they can never buy love to someone. Just like Harrison, she has money, wealth, car, and even wise brain, but one of the most important possession that she doesn't have, is love. And it is Sam who taught her what is it. For me, it's a wonderful movie that can make me cry. I have seen so many movies all my life but this is one of a kind, I will treasure it, for me to be able to learn it. It's not a nonsensical movie that's why I like this. And this movie taught me how to care, how to respect, and how to love someone I treasure the most.
